Little River Band - Reminiscing

Not so great video, but I dig the song

Steely Dan - Any Major Dude Will Tell You

Kind of a recently discovered tune for me. Classic mellow Steely Dan stuff.

Mötley Crüe - Without You

Power ballad bliss. Steel guitar plus string section plus pyrotechnics.

Go Air Force

Third Eye Blind - Deep Inside Of You

Like the song and for some reason dig the homemade video. Kind of picks up at the end.

Colbie Caillat - Realize

I kind of wanted to not like this, but how can you be mad at a classic ballad like this?

Jefferson Airplane-Miracles

Nice song, rediscovered it watching Crank when he's falling out of the plane at the end. Got to get mellow to this one.

Breakfast Club - Right on track

This is as 'hood as it got in 1988

The Script - We Cry

Another great song I caught overseas. Go Irish hip hop!

Wiley - Wearing My Rolex (What Would We do)

weird, sexy, catchy. caught this video a couple times overseas and I like it

Bodhisattva (Steely Dan)

wicked video for this song

d'angelo - how does it feel

You know they can't wait 'til you're out of your deal/look how they did d'angelo ask him how do it feel?

Kind of uncomfortable video for a straight guy to watch, but gotta like the song.

The Roots Feat Erykah Badu - You Got Me

One of the best bands with one of the best singers...classic

Around My Way - Talib Kweli

I was thinking about putting Every Little Thing by the Police, but I kind of dig this a little bit more. They are both great songs

norah jones - seven years

This lesser known song from Norah Jones sounds really different on wax than the mp3 that I got several years ago. Her song Don't Know Why is pretty good, too. The live version is impressively good.

Billy Joel - She's always a woman

I heard this performed live the other day, not really the first Billy Joel song I think of but it's not bad.

Tunak Tunak Tun - English lyrics by Buffalax

This is straight up awesome

Crazy Indian Video... Buffalaxed!

My loony bun is fine Benny Lava!

The Prayer

This is hands down the best track on Ghostface's new album and Ghost isn't even on it. Just a little over a minute of pure soulful bliss.

Miri Ben-Ari On Apollo

Miri killed it when she was on the Apollo back in the day.

Madvillain - All Caps

kind of a slick video for a cool song

Thirstin Howl The 3rd - Still Live With My Moms

This is for tha heads that live with their moms

Boot Camp Click - And So

BCC...hell yeah.
"I'm hip hop like the backspin/
and you can never change the fact that I did it back then"

Digital Underground - Return of the Crazy One

lesser known hit from Digital Underground
Keep your eyes peeled, you may see Tupac in this video

Lupe Fiasco - Fighters

One of the best tracks off the Cool

System Of A Down-Atwa

I remember reading about this song to think Queen on steroids. I can't think of a better description for this song.

Sorry - Buckcherry

Go power ballads!

Avenged Sevenfold - Bat Country

This video is a sentimental fave because I would see it on MTV all the time right before I moved to Vegas

LA Symphony-Broken Tape Decks

This is the jam

Non Phixion - The C.I.A is trying to kill me

sometimes you just want a little bit of conspiracy theory with your hip hop. This song kills it.

Company Flow - 8 steps to perfection

Primo...nuff said

Nirvana-Something In The Way

sometimes you just need to hear that it's okay to eat fish.

Sarah McLachlan - Blackbird

Speaking of Beatle-esque songs from Sarah M, I like this one too.

Sarah Mclachlan - Adia

Kind of beatle-esque on the studio track but I kind of dig the live version. There, I said it.

There's no one left to finger...(cue immature laughing)

Shwayze - Buzzin'

I'm probably not supposed to like this song, but I do

Really?

I couldn't really watch this all the way through, but it's unbelievable. This couple goes all the way through the kama sutra and I think he just got that girl pregnant by dry humping everything from her ears to her elbows.

Warren G feat Nate Dogg - I need a light

I could do with an unedited version without the commercial at the front, but you get what you tube gives you.

Nas - It Ain't Hard To Tell

One of my favorites from Illmatic.

Estelle featuring Kanye West - American Boy

will.i.am reuses a beat and it turns out better than the first time. This was a pretty big hit in the UK this year.

Lily Allen - Smile

This song has been out for a while, but it didn't really grow on me until I heard it a couple times overseas.

I think I dismissed Lily Allen as Amy Winehouse-lite, but they are most certainly very different artists.

The Raconteurs

Gotta like a dirty, simple riff to drive a song. That's Jack White on the vocals.

Corinne Bailey Rae - I'd Like to

I heard a rendition of this song by an Air Force band called Live Round when I was overseas. It's actually better than the original, but this isn't too bad.
